The years 1985 - 1986 were very productive period in  batik painting.  Such a time will come once and I did my best when the opportunity came.  It was a time of making money from my paintings.  Most were sold to expatriates and their spouses.  The painting sizes were rather big bearing in mind that these were paintings done on cotton, using the traditional batik technique of wax resist and series of dye bathing the cloth.  More of the batik pieces can be seen here ...>>>http://mygalerimood.blogspot.com/search/label/Batik
