In 2015 I decided to put on permanent record i.e. on the world wide web a historical piece I did while studying history at the Universiti Sains Malaysia at Penang in the early 1970's.   I self-published the writing in the form of a blog called " The First 100 years of Penang Free School" in August 2015.

Historical writing made the fun way

Bintulu Fish Market in the 1970's
One of the challenges I put myself is in writing history  that is fun.  How?  In today's inter-connected world of the Internet and self-publishing and advanced pictorial digital technology that is free, I have endeavoured to optimise its advantages in the form of writing history by combining narrative with images.  A blog created to meet this end is called " Images of Bintulu Before and Now".  It is a pictorial history of Bintulu. I started wring in this blog in November 2010.
